Death Becomes Life

I created this piece by blending two powerful symbols monarch butterflies and skulls. Monarchs represent transformation, migration, and the cycle of renewal. Skulls often symbolize mortality, but also the truth that endings make way for beginnings.

Together, they tell a story of rebirth. That even in the presence of loss, there’s movement, growth, and change. Transformation is rarely easy, but it’s always worth it shedding old versions of ourselves so something new can take flight.
